A weekend in Sitka

After having such a good time last weekend, I thought that surely my high expectations for all weekends to follow would be crushed, but this was not the case my friends. I had an amazing weekend in Sitka that was truly good times. It was a complete last minute decision, (I always find that those are the best kind of trips) and I went along with a group of UAS students who were biologically inclined on our merry way to Whalefest, an annual event in Sitka, whose main beef is three days of scientific lectures, some whale watching and a couple of other little events- it was truly delightful, more details about it later maybe? But for now I have a killer head ache and King Island Christmas stuck in my head, so I better get some sleep.
